Parents with children ranging from newborns to adult kids looking to improve their own health and inspire healthier habits in their children. This conference is lead by health and fitness industry tutors so may also appeal to PTs, coaches and fitness instructors who work with parents.
Just yourself and a readiness to learn! Workbooks and resources will be provided. Wear whatever clothes you feel comfortable sitting in for an afternoon.
Unfortunately this event is aimed at 18+ only. Although this is going to help your children and grandchildren in the future, it is going to be through your changes first. If your children are 18+ they are welcome to come with an additional ticket for themselves. Otherwise it will be in yours and their best interests long-term to arrange alternative childcare ASAP.
No exercise will be happening during the event except for walking to the toilets and moving around freely during breaks.
No you won't be made to do speak in front of others. There will be opportunities to work with others on your table during the workbook tasks IF YOU WISH, otherwise these can be completed solo. There will also be opportunities for questions to be asked during a set Q+A timeframe.
Tea, coffee and water will be provided but if you'd like to bring your own preferred non-alcoholic drinks and/or snacks, this is allowed.
You will be heading to the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at St James' Park, Newcastle. NUFC site staff will be available to direct you to our room. You will also receive a couple of emails a few weeks before the event which will include all key event info for the day.
You will be emailed your ticket a few weeks before the event with a specific code. All names will also be on a checklist. There will be a ticket checklist on the event door. If you are transferring a ticket you must give the new attendee the email and code.
St James' Park is in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne. It is close to the train station, many bus routes, and there will be a car park available on site for all attendees (at an additional on-site charge). If you are travelling further afield, Newcastle Airport is a 15minute drive and has great train/bus links to city centre and the stadium.
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to someone else.
We understand that things come up. As long as you are being respectful of other attendees and of the guest speakers, you can arrive / leave the event as you wish. However, to get the absolute most from your ticket, we obviously recommend you stay for the full event from 1pm-5pm. You won't receive any partial discounted tickets if this is required.
