Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend?

Children between 6-15 years old can attend and MUST be accompanied by an adult/parent/care-giver who will also be participating in the classes.

How many children can I bring?

For health and safety reasons, there must be 1 adult to 1 child at all times. This means if you wish to bring 2 children, you plus 1 other adult/guardian must book in as well.

What is the fitness level of the classes?

Our coaches can tailor the workouts to suit all fitness levels. We offer variations to meet you and your child where they currently are with the aim to gradually progress. You nor your child will be made to do anything you/they don't feel comfortable doing.

How long do the sessions last?

50minute sessions including warm up, main session and cool down.

What do the sessions consist of?

The aims of the 2 class types; serotonin booster and boxing resilience are: fun, engaging, full body, and progressive. They include physical challenge games, circuits and new skills. Not only will they improve mobility, cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and core strength, but also boost mood, confidence and resilience.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to be in whatever comfortable workout clothing and footwear you and your child like to wear. You both need a water bottle (we have a water machine on site for refills).

What is the cost?

Each class is £6.50 which is the total price for 1 adult and 1 child. Each additional child and additional adult must book separately. You can also make the most of our Body and Mind monthly class pass for £39 per month which allows you and 1 child access to unlimited sessions per month.

Are the coaches qualified?

Our family fitness coaches are Level 3 PT and Fitness instructors with DBS checks and first aid trained. They also have the relevant insurances. They work specifically with children outside of LL in a boxing gym and at a dance school.
